Many mobile applications are disorganized, difficult to view, and too complicated to use on popular handheld or portable devices.
According to Pew Internet and American Life Project, about half of Americans use smartphones. With such a high number of Americans using smartphones every day, interfaces that are confusing and anything but user friendly are a problem. Not convinced?
Of all mobile users, 48 percent report anger and frustration on mobile sites that show a complete inattention to user friendly interfaces and professional web design. A third of smartphone and other mobile device users describe browsing poorly designed mobile sites as a complete waste of time.
With unhappy consumers and professional relationships at stake, many are turning to web design development services or small business web design services for help. Small businesses seem most in need of help because, rather than having poorly conceived or constructed mobile sites, 74 percent of small companies have no mobile application or website at all.
That is daunting news. MCommerce or purchases and revenue made directly from mobile sites are expected to earn as much as 119 billion dollars by the year 2015.
With the rise in smartphone use and mobile commerce, companies will grow to regret having such little regard for web development and the construction of mobile phone applications. Companies may still have some time, but they need to catch up with a rapidly expanding industry. And they need to do it quickly. Find out more at this site.
